Kenneth Gerald Anderson, age 82, of Isanti died June 14, 2015 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West. Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 19th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Father Don Wagner as Celebrant. A visiting time will be one hour prior at the church. Burial will be in Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.
Kenneth Gerald Anderson was born January 5, 1933 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Albin and Rose (Miller) Anderson. His parents farmed and lived several places before settling in Stark. Kenneth served his country in the US Air Force for 15 years, including during the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict. On October 13, 1956 Kenneth was united in marriage to Rolandé Vives at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church in North Branch. They lived in Japan, France, St. Paul, Blaine, and Ham Lake before moving to Isanti in 1990. He worked as an aircraft mechanic while in the Air Force and then in trucking. Kenneth also drove school bus for the Cambridge-Isanti School District for 8 years. He loved gardening, watching birds and his pets. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
Kenneth died June 14, 2015 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 9 days. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Phillip; three sisters, Geraldine Peterson, Rosemary Freese, and Shirley Schonhardt; three brothers-in-law, Charles Peterson, Arnie Freese and Herman Schonhardt; and by two infant siblings.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Rolandé; daughter, Anne-Marie (Joel) Lackey of Maplewood; brother, Sheldon (Debra) Anderson of Cambridge; 3 grandchildren, Alina (Craig) Sprowls, Jessica Anderson, and Joshua Anderson; 2 great-grandchildren, Joelle and Ainsley Sprowls; and by many other relatives and friends.
