Jane Hischer, age 67, of Isanti died September 15, 2014 at home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 22nd at First Baptist Church in Cambridge. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 – 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 21st at Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Jane Marie (Yerigan) Hischer was born November 21, 1946 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin to George Yerigan and Myrtle (Myers) Yerigan. Surrounded by her family she passed into the arms of Jesus on September 15, 2014 after a 4 month courageous battle with gall bladder cancer. Jane was a fabulous Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend. Jane will be missed by all who were blessed to know her and remembered for her beauty inside and out.
Jane grew up in Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1964. Following graduation, Jane met and married Arnold Hischer on April 22, 1967. Jane retired from Medtronic in 2008, where she worked as an Administrative Assistant. Jane loved the Lord, every moment she could spend with her family, shopping with her granddaughters, attending grandchildren’s sporting events, traveling with her husband and siblings, her flower gardens, rides in their Mustang and baking the best brownies and chocolate chip cookies.
Jane is survived by her husband, Arnold Hischer; daughter, Jody and her husband Troy Doble; son, Troy and his wife Jennifer Hischer; grandchildren, Morgan, Seble, Shelby, Corbin, Araya and Syfah Doble, Mason and Madison Hischer, Katie and Abby College; siblings, Dean and Mary Lou Yerigan, Ruth Ford, Ray and Carol Yerigan, Kathleen Yerigan; sister-in-law, Gloria Yerigan as well as many special nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Byron and sister-in-law, Charlotte Yerigan; sister, Donna Reineccius; and brother-in-law, Bob Ford.
