Steven D. Anderson, age 62, of Isanti andhusband of Jane Anderson, died March 1, 2011 at GracePointe Crossing Gables East in Cambridge. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 5th at Cambridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Schneider-Bryan officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Steven was born April 27, 1948 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Gerald and Beverlyann Anderson. Steven and his parents moved to a farm in rural Isanti in 1960. Steve bought the farm from his parents in 1970. He was employed as a Tool & Die Maker for Cardiac Pacemakers, Medtronic, and Guidant Corp, retiring in April of 2003. Steve enjoyed spending time with the family, old friends and new. He loved the outdoors and adventures out west on horseback or his Harley. He loved long walks with his dog through the fields and woods of the Athens Township farm. Steve collected everything that held a story from matchbooks to antique furniture to Sherlock Holmes movies.
Steven Douglas Anderson died March 1, 2010 at GracePointe Crossing Gables East in Cambridge at the age of 62 years, 10 months and 2 days. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Anderson and father-in-law, Dean Anderson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jane (Anderson); son, Eric (Kelli) Anderson; daughter, Emily CM Anderson (Scott Newlin); step-daughter, Amy (Troy) Johnson; grandchildren, Delaney Anderson, Avreigh Anderson, Mackenzie Johnson and Tyler Johnson; mother, Beverlyann Anderson; mother-in-law, Joyce Anderson; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jackie (Mike) Oslund, Steven Anderson, Jon (Cathy) Anderson, Neil (Gwen) Anderson; aunts and uncles, Cookie and Jerry Fahrmann, Kathy and Lance Buoen and James and Judy Geronsin; and by other relatives and many friends.

We want to convey our sympathies for your family’s loss. I lost both of my parents to Alzheimer’s disease, so I have empathy for your loss and your continuing struggle to deal with it. Steve & I were acquaintances, we both worked at Medtronic, his daughter Emily and my son Brent are close friends.
